I know its been awhile.....

Wow we've been so busy that I have completly forgot that I have a BLOG!! So to catch everyone up I will recap what has happened these last few months. So I'll start with Easter. Doug's family came up from Az to celebrate Easter and that is always intertesting when we all get together. A few days later Emma started to WALK!! She's too funny she's getting smarter and smarter every day. A few weeks after that Emma turned 1! My mother invited over 100 people to come to our house to celebrate but only about 60 showed up. It was the mose crazy, tiring, exciting day I've had in a long time. We had also rented one of those big blow up jumping houses in the shape of a Princess Castle. It was so much fun! Other than those events we have the normal boring life... Doug works all day and by the time he gets home we're either too tired to go out or its too late and nothing is open.

Doug's Business

Wow it's been a crazy couple of weeks! Emma is Walking when she wants too, and Doug's Business is going GREAT!! He met a guy who financed his business and it was a major blessing! It was just enough to get them started and they are starting to get super busy. Besides that Doug got in a car wreck and in the same week fell 9 Feet down a Celler!!! It totally sucked! and I cant even touch him becuase the brusied are so bad. But part of me shouldn't be surprised because I did marry a Prone Accident Man....

Poor Emma

So Emma has been really sick :( She slept for 15 hours 3 days ago than was up for 5 than took another 12 hour nap. It's so sad, but Doug is soo cute with her. I walked in our room and they were just cuddling together watching Wonder Pets. But on the Bright side of things She is standing all by herself and is Starting to take a few steps at a time.

Long Week Ahead.....

So Doug will be gone for a Week. He's going down to AZ to see How his sister Kerri runs her business. Why would he be doing that you ask? Well He started his own BUSINESS!!!! And they'll be doing the same thing Kerri and Dave do in AZ but her in Ut instead. Im excited for him, but Emma doesnt sleep without her daddy. So this next week might not be so fun for me :(

Sundance is almost over.....Almost

Less than a week left of this crazy arts festival. And that means less than a week left till we get to see Doug! He's been working so hard! he'll get home at 6:00am and be gone by noon, but he's been making decent money so thats a plus. On the down side Emma and I have been sick with both sinus infections.... So its been hard on Emma not having her daddy with her at night. Ok I admit it too its been hard on me as well.

Sundance

Well Its a few days before the "Famous" Sundance thats takes place Mainly In Park City Ut...Which means that Emma and I wont see Doug for Maybe 2 Weeks :( But Hopefully He'll Make Lots of Money so we can save up for a Honeymoon! Yeah I know we've been married for almost a 1 1/2 but when we got Married my work only let me take 1 Freaking day off! I know its Gay! So than we decided we'd go on our Honeymoon when we went through the Temple...But Doug got Laid off the week before so the Honeymoon was cancelled Yet Again. But I know someday I WILL gey my Honeymoon!

Heidi If you're Reading this I think Its HILARIOUS that Charity is "Pregnant" with baby Diego, and we want to know the SECOND baby SAMUEL is Born! :)

Recap of 2008

Last Year in the Ashinhurst Family we expierenced many Wonderful, Amazing, and Very Sad Events. But I'll just go over the Important ones so I dont bore all of you.

In the Begining of the Year Doug and I moved into My Wonderful Parents House So I would be closer the the Hospital. For all of you who dont know I was 7 Months Pregnant and I was Miserable! and Everyone around me was Miseralbe as well (I wanted to be fair to everyone so our whole household was miserable with me). I March my father got deployed to Nepal, and my little brother wade left for basic training. My father and 2 of my 3 brothers are in the Army so its been really crazy dealing with the "Army" Life. I was nervous because I was ready to pop and I was dertermind NOT to have a baby without my daddy there. But it was a good thing he got back 2 days before I had Emma. On May 9th Our Beautiful Baby Girl Arrived! Emma Rose Ashinhurst Weighed 7Lbs & 9oz & Streched out 21Inches Long! She Looks just like her daddy but got lucky with my eyes. The following 2 weeks were very hard for Doug. He did NOT like the fact we had to go into the dr. office everyday to get emma's blood taken. I felt bad too but she had jaundice and there was really nothing we could do about it. Than in August Doug had yet another Hard Week or two....His Best Friend James moved to Texas. They've never been more than 6 hours apart and now there like 26 hours apart. In September I turned 22 and a week before Thanksgiving Doug got Laid off :( and Doug, Emma and I were Sealed in the Manti Temple!!!!! That was an AMAZING DAY! The next week we took off and drove down to Arizona to have thanksgiving with my In-laws. That was a very eventful trip. Than in December my wonderful husband turned 27! And we finished the Year off just like Last Year...Doug was driving Cab and I was home asleep before 11 except I had emma and I wasnt big and Pregnant. I told doug that someday we will be able to spend New Years Eve toghether...so far its been 0-2
